About Us > Our Story > Prestasi Flour Mill (M)

Prestasi Flour Mill was incorporated under the Malaysia Company Act in 1994 and commissioned in 1999. The name Prestasi was specifically chosen for the company, because in Bahasa Malaysia, Prestasi means “prestige” and accurately describes what the company wants to convey with regards to its brand and products.

At Prestasi Flour Mill, bulk buying expertise, quality control facilities and close attention to wheat procurement details guarantee that only high-quality grains are purchased to make the finest flour. Our mill was designed and built using state of the art machinery and makes use of “near infra-red spectroscopy” to provide rapid and accurate analyses of raw materials and finished products. Prestasi Flour Mill has a capacity to mill 850 metric tonnes of high-quality wheat a day. A high level of automation enables the implementation of rigorous hygienic systems. Our finished products are renowned for the finest purity and homogeneity.

The quality assurance laboratory, research, and development facilities both house the very latest in raw material and dough testing equipment. These facilities and our dedicated, professional staff are available to provide the highest level of technical back up to all our valued customers and users. We are firmly convinced that with this facility, in the hands of a very committed management and staff, the “Prestasi Flour Mill” is perfectly positioned to take on the challenges of the new millennium.
