Role Requirement:

• Competent technical knowledge on wheat and flour quality, to lead the QAQC team.
• Provide leadership in making quality & regulatory decisions that balance business and quality factors while ensuring consumer safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide timely and appropriate risk assessment.
• Provide leadership and technical support in the areas of Quality Management with an emphasis on customer requirements, continuous product quality, and productivity improvement.
• Provide leadership and have accountability for food safety and sanitary performance of mill as measured by internal and external (Corporate, regulatory, customer) audits.
• To ensure compliance of FSSC22000, HACCP, GMP, HALAL requirements, Good Laboratory Practice to meet the stringent quality expectation by customers and regulatory bodies.
• Deliver on all core tactical accountabilities of Food System Quality Management: maintain balanced budget, manage lab, address personnel issues, ensure a safe & positive work environment, and manage Food Safety Quality/Sanitation contractors.
• Manage issues with non-conforming product to assure proper control, minimize losses and provide analysis to eliminate future occurrences.

• Malaysian aged between 35 to 45 years old.
• Minimum 5 years QAQC working experience in flour manufacturing or any relevant fields.
• Minimum Bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent academic qualification.
• American Institute of Baking (AIB) Graduated is an added advantage.
• MAFAS fumigation License holder is also an added advantage.
• Well-versed with HACCP, HALAL, ISO and other food related regulations.
• Requires to travel independently when required.
• Meticulous and possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
